We are looking to appoint a Catch Up Tutor for Numeracy to provide intensive intervention to pupils who require additional support. This will involve working with small groups and/or individuals to support the delivery of the curriculum for this academic year as part of the College’s Catch Up Strategy.
This is a fixed term post starting in September, subject to relevant recruitment checks, until July 2023. We would welcome applications for those also looking for full or part time hours. The post is suitable for committed teachers or tutors who specialise in Maths and are enthusiastic, passionate about their subject and have high expectations of all pupils. Applications from qualified or unqualified teachers with relevant teaching or tutoring experience and qualifications are welcomed.
The successfully appointed person will work across the year groups providing additional and targeted support to pupils in Maths. The suitable candidate will report to the Curriculum Team Leader and have the ability to understand the sequence of teaching and learning in the subject, and communicate such information to pupils.

Pre–employment medical check
You may be asked about your physical ability to perform the job during interview. References
